Top customer reviewsBy Jo on 25th July 2018 I've had one of these before with no problems. I bought a new one a few months back and they do come up a bit small. I persevered thinking they were just snug and sadly now the mesh has split. I will be ordering a new one in a size up. Great piece of kit but not true to sizing I'm afraid. By Charly99 on 3rd May 2016 It's a great chest guard (I use it for high impact martial arts), but the vest is a tiny bit small, I'm usually a UK32A, the 32\" is a tiny bit small. By Francis on 20th May 2015 Must have for women in the MMA world this vest and guard work very well you are very comfy and can move freely. Couldn't fight without it now. By Galwaygal on 27th March 2011 I bought this for my 15 year old daughter, who was training for her 1st. Black Belt Grading in Karate. She had been shown one of these, by one of her colleagues. It is used specifically for sparring. One important piece of advice - it must be used in conjunction with the specially-designed \"Maxi Guard Chest Insert.\" This is a firm piece of plastic-type material, which protects the breast / chest area, which, if accidentally hit, can be very uncomfortable! You should be able to see the outline of this Chest Protector, through the vest in the illustration - it is shaped to suit the upper body. The vest is put on by the wearer FIRST, then the \"Maxi Guard Chest Insert\" is slotted into place underneath the vest, via inlets in the vest. You need the TWO ITEMS COMBINED, in order for this protector to be a snug fit and to function the way it should. She uses it only for \"sparring\" sessions and finds it wonderful. It does exactly what it's supposed to do i.e. protects the breast / chest area. You have to buy BOTH items for chest protection. One is useless without the other!
