Top customer reviewsBy who needs to know? on 5th January 2017 Bought yesterday, came in the post today. The tsuba and rubber ring went on with a bit of \"persuasion\" and effort but i dont think they will come off in a while. The bokuto itself it a good weight, decent balance and as a side note, my bokuto/bokken came a bit darker than shown in the photo but i actually prefer in more brown than \"blonde\". Overall, very nice quality bokuto/bokken for the amazingly low price. If you wanted, you could find a better bokken but not for the same quality/price ratio. I would recommend to anyone. Just purchased a large quantity for my students. By Jamie on 25th November 2014 An excellent training tool had mine for about 4 years now. Good quality wood (have only used red oak equipment from here but I would like to know what is the difference between the white and black oak bokkens?) By Chris on 18th November 2014 I'm a beginner, i do find this bokken top heavy but it is well made and solid. By Adrian on 23rd October 2010 A traditional shaped weapon, made from good quality wood. The finish is oiled and polished (not varnish), and has a good feel. This bokken is slightly heavy compared to some that I have handled.
